Norfolk Pine
Temperature: These are actually tropical plants and therefore must be kept between 65-85°
Watering: Allow soil to dry out between watering’s, allowing the bottom soil to remain partially moist, but not overly wet.
Misting the plant weekly will also help the plant grow.
Light: Can be put in direct or indirect lighting situations.
Fertilizing: You can use liquid fertilizer twice a month spring – summer.
Mildly toxic
Cypress
Temperature: The best temperature for these is right around 60°, although they can tolerate slightly higher or lower temperatures as well.
Watering: Keep soil semi-moist, letting the top dry out slightly between each watering.
Light: Enjoys bright, direct sunlight
Fertilizing: Fertilize only in spring, once a month using a 20-20-20 fertilizer.
Non toxic
Poinsettia
Temperature: Keeping these at around 65-70° is necessary, temperatures below 50° will harm them.
Watering: Keep the soil moist, watering once the top soil feels dry to the touch, but make sure the poinsettia is not sitting in wet conditions.
Light: Enjoy full, bright light.
Fertilizing: Use a balanced fertilizer once a month from spring – summer.
Mildly toxic
Amaryllis
Temperature: Keep between 55-80°f
Watering: Water about every 4 days when flowering, or when top of soil is slightly dry.
Light: Keep in bright indirect light
Fertilizing: Only fertilize when not flowering – every 3 weeks with a liquid houseplant fertilizer.
*After flowers die, cut off flower stalks 2 inches above the bulb, leave in soil and keep in a sunny window. Continue watering when soil becomes dry.

Juniper
Temperature: These plants should be grown primarily outdoors – they can withstand very low temps (10°F) and high temps (around 80-85°F), but should be moved to only morning sun during the hot summer months.
Watering: Keep soil consistently moist; however, ensure the use of well-draining soil as these can also be overwatered easily.
Light: Enjoy bright, direct light.
Fertilizing: Fertilize during spring-summer using a balanced fertilizer.

Paper White
Temperature: Keep between 55-80°f
